Original Madras Trading Company are small batch hand weavers and makers from Chennai, on the Bay of Bengal in eastern India formerly known as Madras. This 3rd generation company have been trading “Madras cloth” to many of the famous U.S. fashion brands that you associate with Ivy style since the Grandfather/Founder traveled to the States in the 70s with a suit case of Madras textiles and established an office on 38th St in the garment district of NYC.
